The newly-formed Quatuor Coronati Lodge soon gave thought to ways and means of communicating with Masonic students at home and abroad and early in 1887 the Correspondence Circle was inaugurated. In 1975 the lodge formed a company limited by guarantee, Q.C. Correspondence Circle Limited, to handle its publications and the administration of the Correspondence Circle.  All  members of the Correspondence Circle became ‘Associate’ members of the company (that is non-voting).

Who Can Become a Member of the Quatuor Coronati Correspondence Circle?

Membership is by application and is open to all  students of Freemasonry.

Corporate membership is available to libraries, associations, and to Masonic bodies, such as lodges and chapters, everywhere.

Benefits

Correspondence Circle members in good standing enjoy the following benefits:

1. To receive on joining a complimentary copy of a recent volume of AQC.
2. To receive annually the latest volume of AQC.
3. To receive a newsletter with Masonic information including the activities of Quatuor Coronati Lodge. This will usually include a ‘questions and answers’ section largely inspired by queries which have been sent in by Circle members.
4. On payment of a small fee, to receive in advance a digital (PDF) copy of the paper due to be read in lodge, and to comment upon it in writing.
5. (If qualified by membership of a lodge under the UGLE or under a Grand Lodge recognized by the UGLE) to attend all meetings of Quatuor Coronati Lodge; to participate personally in the discussion of papers after their delivery; and to dine with members of the lodge after the meeting.

Joining the Correspondence Circle

There is a  joining fee (for both individual and corporate membership) of £5.00 (GBP) $12.00 (US) for the soft bound volume or £6.00 (GBP) $15.00 (US) for  the hardback  volume. Every new member receives as a  complimentary copy a past volume of the Transactions or, if  no such copies remain, of a recommended Masonic book.

There is an annual subscription (for an individual, a brother or for a lodge, etc.) of £22.00 (GBP), $40.00 (US) for the soft bound volume or  £24.00 (GBP), $45.00 (US) for the hardback  volume.
